Blitz Spirit: Independent Short Film Review

Blitz Spirit is an Independent Short Film brought to you by Sean Ramsden set in the 1940s. It’s the story of a small family and how they make ends meet during the time of the war. The visual treatment of the film is fantastic, it is quite the effort to take current-day camera footage and render them in a way that blends with actual footage from the 40’s. The music was pretty great too, it flowed well through the scenes. You can watch the film below:

A note from Barry

I've always believed the best part of a movie isn't the ending—it's the discussion afterwards.

Every week I read theories that are completely different from my own, and that's my favourite part of running This Is Barry.

If you have your own interpretation—or you're simply curious to see how others understood the movie, I'd love to have you join the conversation.
